Company Description

You will be responsible for the OSS/NEMS systems and will collaborate with the team and our partners to ensure we meet our architecture and business objectives.


Job Description

  • Responsible for the technical delivery of solutions under your care for 3UK OSS NEMS Systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams, including network (RAN, Transmission, IP, Service Layer, and Core), to enable the seamless delivery of OSS NEMS systems.
  • Oversee the elements and systems within your stewardship, ensuring timely and cost-effective capacity solutions that prevent any bottlenecks from affecting the customer experience.
  • As part of the Core Network Solutions team, create and manage design documentation for the solutions and elements under your responsibility.
  • Maintain a configuration management system to ensure all elements under your care operate in alignment with the design.
  • Support the project management functions in producing and managing robust and cost-efficient delivery plans, ensuring capabilities are delivered to requirements, on time, and without negatively impacting service and business KPIs.
  • Act as a key escalation point for operational and validation issues, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to develop action plans that resolve technical design, test, and operational issues (defect and performance).
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience with the specification and design of OSS/NEMS architecture and systems.
  • Experience of solving end-to-end design challenges that have significant interaction between multiple systems and domains
  • Demonstrable experience and/or expert knowledge of two or more of the following;
  1. OSS and NEMS architecture
  2. 3G/4G/5G Mobile Packet Core architecture
  3. 3G Circuit Switched Core architecture
  4. 4G Voice Architecture (IMS)
  5. MVNO/MVNE architecture and solutions
  6. CS Voice, messaging or popular internet communication service architectures
  7. Mobile Service Control architecture
  8. Internet architecture including IP Networks, IP routing and IP Security Principles
  • Experience of deployment of OSS/NEMS systems through the delivery lifecycle from initial design to full operational handover.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good practical skills in troubleshooting and fault resolution.

Salary range for this role start's at £40,960, and exact salary will differ by job and experience

At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry on their role.

Excluding retail, our core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
